You can register as either a Playing Member or a Non-Playing Member.
Playing Members will be assigned to a team and are expected to regularly attend games. Low attendance can make the experience less enjoyable for your teammates - we discourage anyone who anticipates missing 5+ regularly-scheduled games from joining the league. There are no games on long weekends. Attendance at practices/scrimmages is encouraged but not mandatory.
The annual fee for a Playing Member is $180 plus processing fee. This includes access to all games and practices, league events, a team jersey, and one ticket to attend the end of season banquet.
Non-Playing Members will not be assigned to a team but will retain their returning member status for priority registration in 2025.
The annual fee for a Non-Playing Member is $50 plus processing fee. This includes access to all practices, but does not include participation in team games, a team jersey, or a ticket to the end of season banquet. (Banquet tickets will be made available for purchase for Non-Playing Members and guests of Playing Members later in the season.)
Note: We no longer offer a Part-Time Playing Member option.

We make every effort to draft balanced teams that include players of all skill levels. Games are 90 minutes, 11 players vs. 11 players, refereed by a professional soccer official.
The regular season runs from Mid-May to the end of September. Regular season games are not held on holiday weekends.

REGULAR SEASON
DATES: May 12 to August 25, 2024
TIMES: Sundays from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM (Games start every ~90 minutes, teams play once per day during regular season)
PLAYOFFS
DATES: September 2024
TIMES: Sundays from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM. Exact dates and format will be decided and shared with members later in the season.
PRACTICES/SCRIMMAGES/SKILLS SESSIONS
DATES: May 16 to October 3, 2024
TIMES: Thursdays from 6:00 PM
A team jersey is included in your registration fee. Members are expected to provide their own shorts, socks, and gear. Soccer cleats and shin guards are mandatory to play - you will be asked to leave the field by the referee if you are not wearing the appropriate gear.
We offer a standard range of jersey sizes (S to XXL) but uniforms are ordered in advance of registration and team placements so we are unable to guarantee size availability. If you require a size outside of the standard range, please contact us ASAP at downtownsoccertoronto@gmail.com and we will do our best to accommodate.
